JAM 2015- Admission in IIT and IISc for Msc 2015

Joint Admission Test for Msc(JAM) in IITs and IISc(Indian Institute of Science) will be conduct on 8 Feb 2015.Candidates cam apply till 9 October 2014.With this exam candidates can get admission in Integrated PhD, Msc-MS, and Dual degree programs also.JAM 2015 will be conducted by IIT Guwahati.

Important Dates -

Commencement of Online Registration   - 3 September 2014

Last date for payment of fee                  - 30 September 2014

Last date for Online Application            - 9 October 2014

Written Examination Date                     -  8 February 2015

Declaration of Result                            - 19 March 2015    

Eligibility-

           For IISc(Bangluru) and IIT Guwahati Candidate must have passed with 60% in Qualifying Degree.

For other IITs Candidate must have passed with 55%. 

Application fee-

Candidate can appear either one or two papers.For more then one paper candidate have to pay fee for two papers.

           Fee for one test paper is given below-

           Male candidate(General/OBC) - 1500

           Male candidate(SC/ST/PH)     -  750

           Female candidate(All Category)- 750

           Fee for two test paper is given below-

           Male candidate(General/OBC) - 2100

           Male candidate(SC/ST/PH)    -1050

           Female candidate(All Category) -1050

Fee Structure -

There are different tuition fee for Msc, Integrated PhD and Dual Course in Different Institutes. In IIT Guwahati tuition fee for Msc is 3000 Per Semester and in IIT Mumbai tuition fee for Dual Course is 45000.

 JAM 2015 will be held online for all seven subjects.These subjects are- Biology, Chemistry,Giology,Maths,Biological Science,Physics,Mathematical Statistics. All questions will be multiple choice questions, multiple select questions and Numerical Answer type questions.
